Tips for Advocating with Elected Officials
The role of the Healthy Community Coalition is to help community members work together to advocate for healthy public policy.
We in no way tell members how to vote or what side of an issue they should support. We educate people about the community
health impact of specific issues. We try to raise the level of community debate on health topics. We encourage everyone
who cares to use their voice and power as community residents and let their elected officials know what they think.
